Academic Mentor under 2nd Chance Program (Part time/Full time)

Skills required:

  • Currently Pursuing Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Education, etc
  • Genuine interest in working with children
  • Dependable, punctual and committed
  • Non-judgemental and good interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Interns are assigned several children, and responsible for those children’s academic development over the course of the internship. Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out activities to build clients’ academic confidence and self-esteem
  • Cultivating healthy study habit
  • Teaching children school subjects in a creative manner to cater for children with shorter attention spans or learning difficulties
